The Casco Fire-Rescue Department protects the Town of Casco, Maine located in the Sebago Lakes Region out of two fire stations, central and company 2. We are an all volunteer department with a roster of 70 members. We cover 36 square miles with 2 Engines, 2 Tankers, a Heavy Rescue (Squad), Utility Truck, Forestry Truck, Reel Truck and 2 Transport Rescues(Ambulances). Casco's year round residents population is around 3,500; which grows in the summer with our seasonal residents and visitors to 15,000. CFD is part of an automatic mutual aid agreement system with the Towns Of Naples and Raymond. This agreement provides extra manpower and resources on many emergencies.
Casco Fire - Rescue is dispatch by CCRCC..... DIAL 911 IN AN EMERGENCY; for non-emergency questions or concerns please call 893-2810. BURNING PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED AT THE CASCO TOWN OFFICE OR TRANSFER STATION DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS OR ONLINE AT WWW.MAINE.GOV/BURNPERMIT .
